Brush Collection

The Service Department regularly picks up brush every Wednesday from the beginning of April until the end of October. There is no need to call for service. If  you are in need of brush pickup from November-March, you can contact the service department at (513) 831-7018 for service. Brush is defined as trimmings from bushes or shrubs and tree branches. Grass clippings can be bagged and put in with your regular trash for Rumpke to dispose of.

The volume of curbside brush collection increases every year, and we recognize it is a valuable service to the residents of Milford. To increase efficiency and improve service we ask that you observe the following guidelines:

  • All Brush must be at the curb by 8:00am on Wednesdays
  • Tree limbs and branches cannot be over 6 inches in diameter and no longer than 8ft
  • Please place cut ends of limbs facing the street
  • Secure small twigs and sticks with twine into small bundles, the Service Department cannot accept loose sticks, twigs or piles of debris
  • Do not block fire hydrants, sidewalks or storm drains
  • The following items are not accepted: logs, root balls, stumps, grass clippings, pine needles, plants, leaves, lumber or anything in plastic bags or containers
  • Fence posts, railroad ties and wood pallets are not accepted, they can be cut into four foot sections and can be disposed of with your regular garbage pick up on Thursdays
  •  Brush from private contracting work must be disposed of by contractor, tree removal is not considered trimming or pruning
