Oasis Communter Rail – Eastern Corridor

The Oasis Commuter Rail line is one of four long-term solutions proposed to address mobility and connectivity concerns within Greater Cincinnati’s Eastern Corridor, which extends east from downtown Cincinnati to the I-275 corridor in Clermont County.

Improvement Project for State Route 28

Clermont County Transportation Improvement District approved the road construction improvement project for State Route 28 in Milford, from east of Castleberry Court to the interchange at I-275, to expand to five lanes to relieve congestion. The project has received $2,000,000 federal funding for fiscal year 2011 from OKI.

US 50 / SR 131 / Milford Parkway / Chamber Drive

A variety of improvements are planned for the intersections at US50/SR 131/Milford Parkway and Milford Parkway/Chamber Drive.

Stormwater Project

The purpose of the $600,000 project is to upgrade the existing storm sewer system. The project will improve drainage and remove localized flooding in the area. A closed conduit system will be installed that extends to konw flood prone area and will also connect the network of dry wells. 

The project start date is Monday, July 11, 2011. The project area includes portions of Riverside Drive and Belt Street, the intersection of at Main Street and Walnut Street, and Cross Street.
